SALEM, Ore. (AP) - A Junction City man is behind bars this weekend after police say he caused a fatal car accident while intoxicated, killing two teenagers on Highway 228.

KVAL-TV reports the accident happened just east of Brownsville on Saturday morning.

Oregon State Police say that 21-year-old Austyn Hillsman crossed the westbound lane in his truck, crashing into a Honda Pilot. The crash killed the driver - 19-year-old Caleb Simonis, of Sweet Home, and his 16-year-old passenger. A 15-year-old passenger was also hospitalized with serious injuries.

Hillsman faces two counts of criminally negligent homicide, and driving under the influence. It was not immediately known if he has a lawyer.
