NEW YORK, NY - JULY 25: A Jimmy Choo store stands in lower Manhattan on July 25, 2017 in New York City.

Detroit-area shoppers can now indulge in luxury shoe shopping for a cause at Michigan's first Jimmy Choo location, opening Tuesday in Troy.

The luxury retailer, which also offers bags, sunglasses and other accessories, will host its grand opening today at Somerset Collection in Troy.

According to the retailer, 20% of the proceeds from the grand opening day will benefit The Children's Center, a Detroit clinic offering specialized therapeutic services. Customers must mention The Children's Center at checkout for the donation to apply.

Jimmy Choo is located at the south end of the mall, near Saks Fifth Avenue.
