Michelle Hegedus, 44

Michelle Marie Hegedus, 44, of Falling Waters, West Virginia, passed away unexpectedly on August 20, 2020 at her home.Born on August 14, 1976, in Windber, Pennsylvania, eldest daughter of Michael Steven and Carol (Lashinsky) Hegedus.Michelle graduated from Boonsboro High School class of 1994. She attended Hagerstown Community College where she studied medical assisting. She was a member of Saint James Catholic Church in Boonsboro, Maryland. Michelle had a love of animals of all kinds. She loved to nurture them and spend time with them.In addition to her loving parents, she leaves behind her daughter, Emily Rose Hegedus; her siblings, Michael and wife Wendy (Hull) Hegedus and Brian and wife Holly (Davis) Hegedus. She is also survived by nephews, Wyatt and Sawyer Hegedus; niece ChristiAnn Hegedus and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are encouraged to be placed in a trust established for Emily’s education fund, Michael Hegedus, 19121 Osage Drive, Boonsboro, MD 21713.Services will be private and interment will be in Boonsboro Cemetery.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.baststaufferfuneralhome.com
