List of church closings due to the coronavirus

Many worship services are closing in the Tri-Cities due to the Coronavirus.

The following is a list of closures:

United Methodist Bishop Mary Virginia Taylor sent out a mandate Friday afternoon requiring all United Methodist churches in the Holston Conference to cancel church services for the next two weeks. The Holston Conference has more than 860 churches spread across east Tennessee, southwest Virginia, and northern Georgia.

Central Baptist Church, Johnson City, TN: Closed March 15th.

Covenant Presbyterian Church, Johnson City, TN: Closed March, 15th.
