The Suwannee Dining Room on Florida State University’s campus was shut down Sunday night following what FSU police called “a public disturbance.”

A social media report, posted 8 p.m. Sunday, said the situation is “under control,” but police did not describe the nature of the incident. One person is in custody and there is no threat to the campus.

FSUPD remained on scene as officers conducted a security check of the area.

The popular Suwannee Dining Room is usually open from 9:30 a.m. to midnight on Sundays. No one was injured.

The Suwannee Room is closed for the rest of the night, but will reopen Monday at 9:30 a.m., the report said.
