UPDATE: Police arrested Jay White of Spencer in connection to the homicide.
OWEN COUNTY, Ind. — The Owen County Sheriff’s Department is investigating after a person was found dead in the roadway Tuesday night.
The Owen County Sheriff’s Department said deputies were dispatched to the area of Texas Pike near Manhattan Road on a call of a person lying in the roadway. When deputies arrived, they found the body of a female.
The department says the case is being investigated as a homicide.
