EAU CLAIRE, Wisc. (WLAX) — The Eau Claire County fair is this week, and throughout the weekend’s events, animals were displayed. Some were even auctioned off.

Sisters Dezaray and Tymeka Eisberener showed off their pigs Friday and then auctioned them off on Saturday. Both sisters are officers in their high school Future Farmers of America Program.

Earlier this summer, Tymeka broke her foot, but thanks to her sister helping out, she was still able to get her pig ready to show.

“The first couple month before I broke my foot, I did a lot,” Tymeka said. “And then [Dezaray] stepped up a lot and took a big part of it. I mean pigs can be a lot to handle.”

The sisters spent about five months getting their pigs ready for the fair with an end goal of selling them off at auction.
