Jabe, John P. November 7, 1937-October 15, 2020 John passed away at Sandstone Healthcare Center facility where he resided for the last months of his life due to a fall and onset of dementia. His family was by his bedside showing him love until the very end. John was born in St. Paul MN to John H. Jabe and Madeline DeGulio. He was raised by His Dad and Stepmom Monica Jabe. Dad was an entrepreneur and loved his work. He was the most driven person we knew. He graduated from Vocational High School. In his early years he served in the Airforce @ Pease Airforce Base, New Hampshire. Prior to and following his term he worked for Hilton Fire Brick and was a Fireman for St. Anthony Fire Department. In the early 70's he decided to buy a farm up North in Brunswick and eventually moved the family to Mora MN. There they bought a bar Jaybee (Crystal Tavern) and an ice cream shop. He went to work for U.S. Postal Service and retired from there in 2017. Preceded by John H. Jabe, Monica Jabe and Madeline DeGulio. Survived by His wife, Mary E. Jabe of Hinckley, His children, David Jabe (Kris), Doug Jabe (Belinda) Judi Holmes (Lonnie). Grandchildren, Jacob, Jed, Jaxlin, Zach, Nick, Elizabeth, Michael (Helene), Matthew and Ryleigh. Sisters, Pamela Noren and Jilleen Hernandez. Sister in law, Linda Jones (Patrick). And many others, too many to mention. There will not be any services at this time. The family would like to Thank all of the staff at Sandstone Healthcare Center for loving and caring for our Husband and Dad.
