1. The Jewelry Box of Lake Forest

The Jewelry Box of Lake Forest has some of the best service in the area — customers not only come in for jewelry, but it is common for them to come in and visit as well. The store sells unique pre-owned jewelry so customers are guaranteed to find something beautiful and one-of-a-kind every time they visit.

For people who are nervous about where their precious pieces will end up, The Jewelry Box of Lake Forest won’t send items out for any type of repair— everything is done in-house. The company boasts two appraisers who will give an estimate on any piece of jewelry whether it was bought in the store or not. There are also two jewelers and a master watchmaker on staff as well.

The store is also known to support the local community as it has given to South County Outreach for a number of years. Its promotion that includes bringing in a can of food for 10 percent off a repair has become so popular that the food bank picks up a full barrel of food every month. The store is also known to help out the local high schools by putting its name on the schools’ annual 5k shirts too. Feel good about a purchase by giving back to the community at The Jewelry Box of Lake Forest.

2. Jewelry Exchange

The Jewelry Exchange in Tustin has a lot more to offer besides a quality product. The store advertised some of the best prices in town as customers would only pay 20 percent of what they would walking into a mall jewelry store. The store manufactures its own jewelry, which keeps prices more affordable for those wanting to buy a little sparkle. GIA grade diamonds are also not a problem to find here as there is a large selection.

However, one of the biggest positives of coming to The Jewelry Exchange is its custom designs and turn- around times. Bring in a drawing of what type of ring is to be made and the store can 3D print it and create it very quickly. The Jewelry Exchange can also set stones and finish a piece of jewelry the same day the customer comes in, which is virtually unheard of in the jewelry industry.

3. Jeweler’s Touch

1215 E Imperial Hwy, Placentia; 714-579-1616; jewelerstouch.com

Jeweler’s Touch is no stranger to the Best Of lists; in fact store has won many times. Its owners believe their highly regarded position is due to the fact that they have built trust with their customers over the last 27 years they have been in business. Not only do they put the customer first, but they have plenty of services to keep customers coming back for more.

Six full-time jewelers and one in-house graduate gemologist make this team one of the best when looking for a new piece of jewelry or are handing over a precious keepsake for repairs. They have all updated and state-of-the-art equipment like a 3D printer and they work with CAD as well.

All of the custom design work is done in-house and can be viewed through a 16-foot window that customers can look through while their jewelry is being worked on. The Jeweler’s Touch also has a very large selection of loose diamonds and one of the best bridal selections too.
