Wow, even army will use it. Read about Libratus in wiki and it's a beast... Computer even won a professional poker players human team. Players even were talking about that they had a feeling that computer knows cards of them. But how can computer beat luck? Libratus can't win everytime but it does most of the time.

This is tax payer education and military industrial complex spending just to be given over to big corporations to profit off of. Also online poker cash may soon be dead .....thanks goodness.

Makes sense, poker is, or at least used to be, one of the main pastimes of soldiers.

Poker Robot Libratus

In today's world, artificial intelligence is no longer a novelty - speaking Siri-type helpers on your iphone or Alice in a modern and very advanced Yandex browser, smart speakers, and much more. However, the artificial intelligence industry has not bypassed the poker industry either.
There are many robots that can somehow compete with real players, but there is one that can beat the poker professionals, and with a clear margin in the account.
Back in 2017, the robot Libratus beat its rivals - players with a multi-million profit. The robot is a development of a professor from the United States named Thomas Sandholm and now the US government has become interested in the robot. Official sources have learned that the Pentagon signed a contract with the robot's creator for several years for an amount of $ 10,000,000.
From the signed agreement, it follows that the robot Libratus will be engaged in making the "right" decisions from thousands of possible military scenarios

At one point the divination of the poker programs serve to give the game more visibility. More I do not support the use of technology similar to the game for military use, I do not know I think it kind of disgusting for the image of poker.

No need to worry about the image of poker, poker pros are perfectly capable of destroying it, no matter how popular it becomes. :vollkomme

This sounded so familiar……remember 36 years ago, WOPR (“Wargames”)

Then Tic Tac Toe followed by Global Thermonuclear War, now Poker followed by……– “The only winning move is not to play.”

It’s already installed in our brains. The problem is we have viruses (human conditions) of society that makes us insufficient in solving consistently.
