Seventeen years after forming, a Mandurah seniors cycling club is on a drive to recruit new members.
The Silver Wheels Cycle Club members proudly donned new club shirts at a recent morning tea to thank sponsors.
"The club needed to rebrand and make our riders more visible in the community with new club shirts," club secretary Penny Crowe said.
"Using the original colour we incorporated a photo of Mandurah on the front of the shirts to acknowledge our love of the beautiful city in which we live and cycle."
The club was formed in 2004 to encourage seniors in the Peel area to get out their bikes and start exercising regularly.
"[We also] enjoy a friendly morning tea with fellow members of our club," Ms Crowe said.
"We welcome anyone to our club wishing to get out on their bikes."
The main club ride is Wednesdays from Falcon Pavilion at 8.30am for a 9am ride followed by a club morning tea at 11am.
The first three rides are free.
