DELAWARE TOWNSHIP, NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — UPDATE: A 70-year-old Northumberland County man is dead after an officer-involved shooting Friday afternoon.
It happened when troopers responded to a 911 hang-up call to the 7700 block of State Route 44 in Delaware Township.
When they arrived state police say William Kradlak, Jr. exited his residence. After a brief standoff, police say Kradlak fired at the responding troopers, who then returned fire.
A joint investigation is being conducted by the Northumberland County District Attorney’s Office and state police.
