The police department says Luke Gary, 17, of Windsor, James Lysinger, Junior, 17, of Clinton and James Mcintire, 19, of Urich were in a pickup that was speeding and running stop signs Sunday morning.

Mcintire told the officer that they had been robbed and were chasing the person who robbed them, but the teens refused to answer any other questions about the robbery.

When the teens agreed to a search, an officer found a gun when he patted down Lysinger. Police say Lysinger hit the officer in the mouth as he tried to escape. He is also charged with assault.

The loaded gun was stolen from a car in Clinton the night before. Several other stolen items were found in the truck including a shotgun and credit cards. Another stolen gun was found at a house in Windsor.

The only charge filed so far is for the stolen gun that was found in the car.
