Mother's Day: Here are 30 restaurants for takeout brunch and dinner in metro Phoenix

She’s likely been at the helm of many at-home meals lately, so it’s about time mom gets a break on the big day. Metro Phoenix restaurants are happy to come through with a variety of options ranging from multicourse brunches and dinners to tasty single dishes and special perks for her.

All menus and deals are offered on Mother’s Day, May 10, only except where noted. Several places offering take-and-heat meals require pickup on May 9, so please confirm with the restaurant.

Phoenix

Beckett’s Table

Order a decadent take-and-heat brunch that feeds 4 ($125). It features mixed fruit in a lemon mint syrup, smoked salmon on pretzel toast with whipped cream cheese, capers and red onion and cinnamon rolls with almond-orange vanilla icing. Grilled Andouille sausage and a breakfast egg casserole provide some heft, and a mimosa kit with Domaine Ste. Michelle Brut Sparkling and fresh orange juice brings the pick-me-up. Dishes will be cooked and served cold with warming instructions. Pickup is noon-5 p.m. May 9. This will also be offered at sister restaurant Southern Rail.

Gertrude’s

Meals are available in single-serve or family of 4 options. Dishes include orange-almond-white chocolate brioche French toast ($15 for single serving, $52 for family serving) salmon toast ($15, $60), shellfish quiche ($15, $60) and savory crepes with Maitake mushrooms, chard and cream sauce ($14, $56). Braised beef pot roast and chicken Marsala dishes are available family-style only ($60). Bar add-on kits that make 4 cocktails each ($22) are also available. Sierra Bonita Catering

Get a take-and-reheat brunch or dinner. For brunch, choose from a creamed leek, spinach and mushroom or prosciutto, cheddar and potato quiche ($25 that feeds 6, $6 for a single serving). Add a side of rosemary-sea salt roasted potatoes ($4), a bagel with smoked salmon cream cheese and caper relish ($6) or a fruit and yogurt parfait ($5). For dinner, try beef tenderloin with garlic-herb butter, Mexican scalloped potatoes and asparagus ($32) or a roasted half chicken with salsa verde, Mexican scalloped potatoes, and asparagus ($24). A croissant bread pudding is the sweet finale ($6). Sip on a zingy pineapple-ginger-lime or puckery prickly pear-strawberry agua fresca ($12 makes 4). The Adobe Restaurant at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club

The Take and Bake Brunch Kit ($50) feeds 4 and includes the famous pancake batter with maple syrup and whipped butter, breakfast casserole with or without meat, pre-cooked thick cut bacon and assorted pastries. Mimosa ($25) and bloody mary ($30) kits are available. Pre-orders will be taken through May 8.

Miracle Mile Deli

The Family Meal at Miracle Mile Deli.

Choose from three packages. The Breakfast in Bed ($55) feeds 4 and features bagels, whipped cream cheese, Nova smoked salmon, capers, cucumber, fresh fruit and granola. Choose a sandwich kit for 4 for lunch ($45) or any Family Miracle Meal for dinner ($55-$95) that feeds 4-10. Meals must be picked up by 7 p.m. on May 9. Take advantage of a gift card deal that runs through June 21, and grants a $100 gift card for a payment of $80.

Choose from brunch and dinner options. Brunch for Four ($60) includes three pounds of glazed ham, green chile quiche, Wolferman’s English Muffins with Dickinson’s Red Raspberry Preserves and fresh fruit salad. Dinner for Four ($80) features choice of three pounds of glazed ham or roasted turkey, choice of garlic mashed potatoes or scalloped potatoes, McClendon Select honey and citrus glazed carrots, choice of salad and a dozen Mediterra Bakehouse dinner rolls. Grab brunch for 2 or 4 ($47, $85) that includes feta, spinach and red pepper quiche; rosemary prime rib; croissant chicken salad sandwich; balsamic grilled vegetables; fruit salad; and mini stuffed cannoli. Fabulous Food

PHX Beer Co.

In collaboration with Homeward Bound, the brewery is offering 32-ounce crowlers of bloody mary, margaritas or mimosa kits for $20. For each item sold May 9-10, $10 will go to the nonprofit, which assists homeless families. Currently, about 90% of Homeward Bound families are headed by single moms.

Northeast Valley

ZuZu at Hotel Valley Ho

Two options await. Savor a meal of slow-braised beef short ribs or crab cannelloni with an assortment of sides like butter whipped potatoes, antipasti salad, chocolate cherry almond scones and more ($36 per person). Or, select one of the take-and-make meals (starting at $89) featuring dishes like garlic and herb butter rubbed prime rib, pecan-crusted Alaskan halibut or a mixed grill of filet of beef and rib-eye, diver scallops, jumbo shrimp and fresh vegetables. Add desserts for $15, and a bottle of bubbles and bouquet of flowers for mom for $49. Orders will be taken through 5 p.m. on May 7, with pickup times from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. May 10. Take-and-make meals may be picked up on May 9. Free delivery is available for orders of $100 within five miles.

Indulge with a brunch ($195) that serves up to 4. It commences with assorted artisan breads and local baby lettuce salad, and is followed by main dishes of herb-crusted pork loin and black garlic rack of lamb. Truffled potato gratin and spring vegetables are sides and New York cheesecake with berry compote is dessert. Add on a mimosa or bloody mary kit ($44) or bottle of wine. A menu ($39 per person) featuring a local organic roasted beet salad, roast chicken breast stuffed with shiitake mushrooms, sweet corn grits, Duncan’s Farm organic vegetables, Parker House rolls and a strawberry shortcake tart will be available. Add a bottle of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label ($45) or a bottle of prosecco and a floral bouquet from Cactus Flower ($55). Sushi Roku at W Scottsdale

Get everyone involved with the Hand Roll Pack ($120) of a platter of ingredients and instructions to make about 25-30 hand rolls at home. It includes: soy paper; nori; sushi rice; albacore with soy chili; salmon with soy truffle; snow crab mix with spicy mayo; spicy tuna; yellowtail with yuzu kosho; vegetables; ginger and wasabi. The new Desayuno breakfast menu makes its debut and is available 8-11 a.m. daily in time for Mother’s Day. Surprise her with brunch in bed with dishes like Huevos Rancheros ($9), chilaquiles ($8), avocado toast ($8) and the Berry Well Bowl with vanilla Greek yogurt, strawberries, blueberries and a drizzle of honey and a side of granola ($6.50). Don’t forget the mimosa ($10).  For every $30 order from the breakfast or takeout menu placed in advance or on Mother’s Day, the restaurant will donate a meal to a nonprofit serving women and children.
