Timeless Pearly is the oh-so-romantic jewelry brand that has a cheeky, playful essence at its heart.

Founded by former fashion buyer Leslie Chetrit, every piece is handmade in Paris using semi-precious stones as well as, you’ve guessed it, pearls.

There’s an air of the contemporary and classic, as pieces have been specially designed to channel beloved vintage trinkets but with a modern edge. Yes, there are baroque pearls, but there’s also chunky statement chains and crystals aplenty.

As for the offering, expect mixed-metal necklaces, bracelets, anklets, and the famous mismatching earrings, designed to be mixed, matched and layered.

Felicity Carter: What is your first memory of jewelry?

Leslie Chetrit: My first memory of jewelry was when I was young and I would see my grandmother wearing the most intricate and beautiful pieces of vintage jewelry she could never leave the house without this, and it really made an impact on me.

FC: How and when were you lured into the industry?

LC: I was officially lured into the industry two years ago, I would always search for new unique pieces of jewelry and could never find exactly what I was looking for, so I thought to myself why not start my own brand.

FC: How would you sum up the aesthetic in three words?

LC: Vintage-inspired, playful and vibrant.

FC: What is luxury to you?

LC: Luxury for me is simple timeless pieces, experiences, locations that transport you and allow you to feel unique. Luxury is quality.

FC: Who do you design for?

LC: Modern, synamic strong women, who are not afraid to take risk.

FC: What is on your mood board at the moment?

LC: Right now my mood board is colorful, and I’m playing a lot with transparency, and crystals.

FC: Tell us about the process...

LC: There is no actual process, I’m a designer and I get inspired by the craziest things at the most random times, there’s never an exact process I start by sourcing different materials and stones, and from there the creation begins.

FC: What materials are your favourite to work with?

LC: Pearls of course! I love mix matching gold and silver and right now I’m very into crystals.

FC: Currently, which is your favorite piece and how do you wear it?

LC: My favorite piece for this season is a vintage inspired necklace I recently made - it is made up of all my favorite materials: gold and pearls. It is definitely a statement, timeless piece.
