Dennis W. “Magnum” Cosens, 65 of 15 W. Douglas Ct. Smithsburg, MD, passed away Monday June 15, 2020, at Doeys House wrapped in his daughters arms.Born September 22, 1954, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Clarence A. and Catherine M. Zepp Cosens Sr.He is survived by his daughter Stephanie M. Cosens Huntsberry of Rohrersville, two granddaughters Lacey Shaw of Hedgesville, and Josie Smith of Hagerstown, two stepgrandsons Haven and Trenten Huntsberry of Rohrersville, three great-granddaughters Evangelene, Naomi and Adelynn Shaw of Hedgesville and one great-grandson Emmett McPherson of Hagerstown, his girlfriend Lucinda Clevenger her daughter Danielle McPherson both of Smithsburg, her daughter Shannon Miller of Pennsylvania and her son Shawn Cromer of Pennsylvania. His two brothers Clarence A. Cosens Jr. and Michael B. Cosens both of Boonsboro, a sister Patricia A. Rheam of Hagerstown and his beloved dogs Bella and Buddy.He was proceeded in death by his brothers Gregory L. Cosens Sr. and Jeffery A. Cosens Sr. and his sister Rebecca J. Hoover.Celebration of Life July 11th at 2 to 4pm at 4319 Main St. Rohrersville, MD 21779. July 18 at 3 to 6 pm at Wolfes Den 6 W. Water St. Smithsburg, MD 21783. Burial will be at a later date.
