New grocery store Fry’s Food and Drug now open in Central City

A new grocery store, drugstore and deli has made its debut in the neighborhood. The fresh addition to Central City, called Fry’s Food and Drug, is located at 100 E. Jefferson St.
Fry’s Food and Drug offers a wide variety of products in its floral, produce, meat, seafood, dairy, frozen, deli and bakery departments. Also, look for aisles full of adult beverages, cleaning and household essentials, health and wellness, beauty, personal care, pet care and much more.
With a 4.5-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp so far, the new grocery store seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.
Christopher H., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Oct. 23, wrote, "Absolutely top quality store. Strolled through during the grand opening and the place was abuzz. The entire downtown community will be so much better off with this store."
Yelper Kris L. added, “Good selection of fresh flowers as you walk in. The Starbucks and Chompie's are also near the entrance as well as a decent sized selection of prepared foods with a small eating area."
