One person was slain and another wounded in a Friday night shooting in a North Las Vegas neighborhood, city police said.
Gunshots rang out shortly before 7 p.m. in the 2600 block of Sommer Court, near Simmons Street and Evans Avenue, North Las Vegas Police said.
The surviving victim was rushed to University Medical Center, and the decedent, only described as a male, died inside the house, police said.
No arrests had been made Friday night. Police did not release a possible suspect description but said they don’t believe the shooting to be random.
