Pa. registers 113 more COVID-19 deaths: daily update

Pennsylvania reported 5,766 new COVID-19 infections on Tuesday and 113 new deaths, raising the state’s pandemic death toll to 33,421.

As of mid-day Tuesday, Pennsylvania hospitals were caring for 3,876 COVID-19 patients — hundreds more than a few weeks ago — and 873 who were receiving intensive care.

The state in its daily update on Tuesday said 69.2% of Pennsylvanians 18 or older are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
