How to Watch Celtics vs. Rockets, NBA Live Stream, Schedule, TV Channel, Start Time

As the NBA gets closer to its mid-season break, the Boston Celtics and the Houston Rockets will face-off on Tuesday in a game that should give both teams a great idea of just how good they are and what they need to improve on come the second half of the season. The two teams haven’t played each other this season, but will square-off twice in the next three weeks.

The Celtics are performing at their highest level so far this season, winning seven straight games and 10 of their last 11 games. Boston, currently in third place in the Eastern Conference,  has begun a stretch in which it plays eight straight Western Conference opponents. That started with a 112-111 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday. Boston was led by All-Star Kemba Walker, who tallied 27 points. All-Star Jayson Tatum was not far behind, scoring 26 points and collecting 11 rebounds.

While the Celtics are by no means a tall team, they don’t even come close to the Rockets size. Houston, currently fifth in the Western Conference, is fully embracing the small-ball concept after trading center Clint Capella to the Hawks at the trade deadline. Robert Covington, who is 6-feet-7 inches, is the tallest man in the starting lineup. Led by Russell Westbrook and James Harden, the duo is averaging 62.2 points per game. They scored 67 points in Sunday’s 114-113 loss to the Utah Jazz.
