Hostess Is Releasing S’mores CupCakes, and It’s Stuffed With Toasted Marshmallow Filling

Hostess knows its way around a CupCake, and we’re not just talking about its original one. Just this year, the brand has welcomed the Iced Lemon CupCakes, Mermaid CupCakes, and Llama CupCakes. Now for the summer, we get to indulge in the new S’mores CupCakes.

The three elements of s’mores are graham crackers, chocolate, and marshmallows, and it can be tricky to get all of them into a treat. For the Hostess CupCakes, it consists of a graham cracker-flavored yellow cake that’s stuffed with toasted marshmallow creamy filling and topped with chocolate icing. Let’s address that again: It’s stuffed with toasted marshmallow. Wow.

The new S’mores CupCakes will be available exclusively at Walmart beginning on July 9, a Hostess rep confirmed to Best Products. The box includes eight individually wrapped cakes and costs $2.68. We can’t imagine the limited-edition CupCakes lasting long past the summer, so don’t delay getting your hands on them.

As much as we love a summertime fire pit in the backyard, we’d be lying if we said it isn’t convenient to get the s’mores flavor without having to break out the skewers. Plus, something tells us that toasted marshmallow creamy filling is tough to beat.
