PA Coronavirus Death Toll Tops 100
102 Pennsylvanians have died from the coronavirus as of Friday. A total of 8,420 cases in 63 counties have been reported.
HARRISBURG, PA — There were 1,404 additional positive cases of the new coronavirus reported in Pennsylvania Friday, bringing the statewide total to 8,420 cases in 63 counties.
Twelve new deaths were reported, bringing the statewide death toll to 102.
Fifty percent of those hospitalized in Pennsylvania are aged 65 or older, according to information from state heath officials. Twenty-eight percent of the hospitalizations are aged 50-64; 19 percent of those hospitalized are 25-49.
