After an 0-2 start to conference action, many questioned if Oklahoma would be able to climb back into the Big 12 title conversation. Well, it has.
The Sooners control their path to making an appearance in the Big 12 Championship for a fourth consecutive year. Wins over Baylor and West Virginia the next two weeks will guarantee themselves a spot in the title game against Iowa State.
Should they get there, they would take on the Cyclones in an early kickoff. The Big 12 announced its title game would once again start the day at 11 a.m. CST on Dec. 19. ABC will have the broadcast of the game.

The conference’s title game has been played at 11 a.m. CST each year since it made its return in 2017, so this is simply the status quo. However, when the Big Ten announced its championship game would take place at 11 a.m. CST on Dec. 19 and the SEC moved its game from the afternoon into prime time, some questioned if the Big 12’s game might be pushed to a later time slot.
But, alas, it’ll be a morning kick once again for whatever two Big 12 schools will collide at AT&T Stadium in a few weeks.
