A 25-year-old Dorchester man was arrested in Manchester, N.H., Wednesday night and charged in connection with the shooting of a Randolph man who staggered into a Dorchester hotel where police found him dying Monday night.

Brian Joyce was arrested at about 7:30 p.m. on a warrant out of Dorchester District Court by the Boston Police Fugitive Unit with the help of Manchester Police and U.S. Marshals in connection with the killing of Marcus Dunn-Gordon, 27, police said.

Joyce was taken to the Manchester Police Department, where he was charged as a fugitive from justice. If he waives rendition, he will be returned to Massachusetts to face a murder charge.

At 11:46 p.m. Monday, officers went to 800 Morrissey Blvd. in Dorchester in response to a radio call about a person who had been shot, police said. When they arrived, they found Dunn-Gordon suffering from an apparent gunshot wound inside the building’s lobby. He was rushed to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
