VISALIA, California (KGPE) – Visalia Police officers are piecing together what led up to a woman being shot and killed early Saturday morning.
Just before 5 a.m., officers responded to the 3900 block of East Harvard Avenue for reports of a shooting.
There they found a 21-year-old woman with multiple gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Anthony David, 20, is named the suspect in her homicide, police say. He, as well as the possible murder weapon, were found and was arrested.
David is in Tulare County Pre-Trial Facility, and the homicide is being investigated as a domestic violence incident.
The victim has not been identified.
