Cleveland records 56 new cases of coronavirus, no new deaths: Saturday update

CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Ohio Department of Health has notified Cleveland that it has 56 new coronavirus cases in the city, Mayor Frank Jackson’s administration announced late Saturday night on its Facebook page.

The city reported that it experienced no additional deaths from the virus as of Saturday evening.

The new cases bring Cleveland’s total amount of coronavirus cases to 6,446 and involve patients ranging in age from 1 to 77, the city reported.

The Ohio Department of Health reported Saturday afternoon that the state has 2,915 new coronavirus cases and 10 new deaths.
