WAKITA, Okla. — A magnitude 3.7 earthquake shook northern Oklahoma just before midnight Monday, U.S. Geological Survey data shows.
The quake was detected about .8 of a mile southeast of Wakita, placing it approximately 33 miles north of Enid, according to USGS. It was recorded depth of about 4.35 miles.
The earthquake originally was recorded as magnitude 3.7, then revised upward to 4.0, then downgraded to 3.7 by the USGS.
