It's really annoying when you think you've done your makeup perfectly, and then you move into a different light and realise it does not look as you thought.

One woman used HUDA Easy Bake loose powder , which gave her skin a flawless, stunning look under normal lighting.

But she was shocked to discover it looked bright purple under the glowing lights of laser tag after using the £28 product.

Amanda Whitrock, from Missouri, posted hilarious photos of her face before and during laser tag on Facebook , where they have since gone viral.

She wrote "Don't use HUDA baking powder if you plan on doing laser tag"

She warned other beauty fans not to use the powder at laser tag (

The post has since been shared  over 5,000 times and received dozens of comments from social media users.

People commented to say how hilarious they found the photos.

One person said: "They told you not to try the Three Course Dinner chewing gum for a reason Violet."

Another wrote: "How tf did it make your face red."

"How does it even go that colour?!" a third wrote.

Someone else added: "Omg that is horrible."

Some said she looked like an Oompa Loompa in the snaps.

So why did her face turn such an odd colour?

Some makeup can reflect light because of the translucent pigments in the powder, causing the makeup to show up differently under lights like camera flashes.

This powder appears to have reflected in the darkness under the glowing lights of laser tag, resulting in the hilarious look.
