Port of Corpus Christi, NuStar deliver the symbol of Christmas during Trees For All event

The Port of Corpus Christi on Monday hosted the first night of its 23rd annual Trees For All event at Home Depot on South Port Avenue.

The port, in partnership with NuStar Energy, handed out 300 Christmas trees to families in need. The families were nominated by Foster Angels, Mission 911 and other local organizations. Families also received tree stands and ornaments. 

A second Trees For All event will be Wednesday in Portland.
