LEH, June 23: The COVID-19 Pandemic has caused hardships to everyone, including the building and other construction workers, since the onset of the second wave of the pandemic.
Keeping this in view, Lieutenant Governor, Ladakh, RK Mathur, has sanctioned Rs 78,690,00 (seventy-eight lakh sixty-nine thousand) as financial assistance as a part of the second instalment to the registered building and other construction workers of Ladakh.
The financial assistance would benefit a total of 7,869 registered workers of the Union Territory of Ladakh. The amount would be transferred directly through BDT into the respective account of the registered workers.
