(WKRG) — Here is a list comprised of schools, businesses, and more that have reopened since the impact of Hurricane Sally. However, some are still reeling from the storm and will remain closed.
UPDATE (6:38 PM) — All Baldwin County Commission offices and Baldwin County Commission owned, leased or controlled facilities are closed on Monday, September 21, 2020, and Tuesday, September 22, 2020 with some exceptions.

The Baldwin County Commission has authorized the closure of all Baldwin County Commission offices and Baldwin County Commission owned, leased or controlled facilities on Monday, September 21, 2020, and Tuesday, September 22, 2020, except as set forth below.
The following county offices/facilities will remain open on September 21-22, 2020:
●Baldwin County Probate Offices in Bay Minette and Fairhope Satellite Courthouse
●Baldwin County Emergency Management Agency
●Baldwin County Regional Juvenile Detention Center
●Baldwin County Corrections Center
●The Solid Waste Billing Offices will be closed. Magnolia, MacBride and Eastfork Landfills and the Bay Minette Transfer Station will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
●Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office Administrative Offices will be closed to the public. All first responders and corrections operations will continue as directed by the Sheriff.
UPDATE (5:14 PM) — All Bishop State Community College classes are to resume online and in-person Monday, September 21.
This is the college’s following message:
All online and in-person classes will resume as scheduled beginning Monday, September 21, 2020. The campus and all offices will be open to the public.
Faculty and staff will return to their regularly scheduled office hours or contact their supervisor for flex scheduling.
Students who are still facing issues with their power or internet connection should contact and notify their instructors.
UPDATE (2:39 PM) — Superintendent Chresal D. Threadgill of Mobile County Public Schools announced that all schools and offices will remained closed on Monday, September 21 as some residents are still without power and need time to deal with the aftermath of Hurricane Sally.
Here’s the full message from MCPSS:
I hope each of you have remained safe throughout Hurricane Sally and the aftermath of the storm. Due to some individuals within the community still without power and to allow everyone time to continue dealing with any aftermath, all MCPSS schools and offices will remain closed on Monday, September 21, 2020. All employees are to return to work on Tuesday, September 22, 2020. Remote instruction will resume for all students on Wednesday, September 23, 2020.
Taking the recent events into consideration, we will have to adjust our reopening plan. Revised details regarding the reopening of schools for students are as follows:
Monday, September 28: Special-education students (03 and 04 students ONLY – SELF-CONTAINED) may return to school. We are beginning to distribute packets for other special-needs students including information on when they will be able to return to their classrooms.
Monday, October 5: Grades Pre-K, K, 1, 6, and 9 may return to school.
Monday, October 12: Grades 2, 3, 4, 7, and 11 may return to school.
Monday, October 19: Grades 5, 8, 10, and 12 may return to school.
Additionally, our feeding program will resume on Monday, September 28, 2020.
UPDATE (2:30 PM) — Classes at Pensacola State College are suspended until Monday, September 28.
“All classes and class activities at Pensacola State College have been suspended until Monday, Sept. 28. Employees are asked not to come on any PSC campus unless they have been notified to do so by their supervisors. Academic leadership is working on plans that will allow all faculty and students to resume classes no later than Monday, Sept. 28. Further updates will be sent as we know more or if recovery occurs sooner than expected. For updates, go to PensacolaState.edu.”
UPDATE (1:33 PM) — Per the Archdiocese of Mobile, “All Archdiocese of Mobile Catholic Schools in Mobile and Baldwin counties will reopen on Monday, Sept. 21, with the exception of St. Patrick Catholic School in Robertsdale and St. Benedict Catholic School in Elberta. Those schools are expected to reopen Thursday, Sept. 24.”
UPDATE (12:00 PM) — Chickasaw City Schools will return to school tomorrow at regular times.

UPDATE (10:41 AM 09/20/20) — Escambia County Florida schools closed through Tuesday.
UPDATE (6:37 PM) — In a press release from Coastal Alabama Community College:
All campuses of Coastal Alabama Community College except the Aviation Center at Brookley Field will be closed through Tuesday, September 22 and will reopen on Wednesday, September 23. The Aviation Center at Brookley Field will return on Monday, September 21.
Residential Students – the residence halls on the Bay Minette and Brewton Campuses will open at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
UPDATE (5:20 PM 09/19/20) — Pensacola Christian College and Pensacola Christian Academy are resuming classes on Monday, September 21.
