No one may have won the Powerball jackpot worth half a billion dollars, but three people in South Carolina hold tickets worth millions -- and one of them was sold in the Upstate, according to the South Carolina Education Lottery.Two of those tickets are worth $2 million, including one that was purchased at the Publix Super Market store No. 1012, at 111 West Butler Road in Mauldin.The other $2 million ticket was sold at the QuikTrip store No. 1048, at 9565 Charlotte Highway in Indian Land.A ticket sold at Skiff LLC at 205 South Goose Creek Blvd. in Goose Creek is worth $1 million. The three tickets matched all five white ball numbers drawn. Because two of the ticket holders purchased PowerPlay for an extra $1, their $1 million prize increased to $2 million. Winners should sign their ticket and secure them, lottery officials advise.The winning numbers for Wednesday's drawing were - 10 - 14 - 50 - 53 - 63, and the Powerball was 21.More than 38,000 players in South Carolina hold tickets for prizes from $4 up to $2 million, according to lottery officials. Of these, more than 15,000 players purchased PowerPlay to see their nonjackpot winnings, excluding the Match 5 prize, multiplied by two. PowerPlay does not apply to the jackpot, a lottery official explains. "If you match five white ball numbers to win $1 million and purchased PowerPlay for the extra $1, your prize is increased to $2 million, regardless of the PowerPlay multiplier drawn. If you win a lower-tier prize and purchased PowerPlay, your prize will be multiplied by the PowerPlay number drawn." Players have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes. Winners above $100,000 must come to the Columbia Claims Center to redeem their winnings.
