Troopers on Friday identified a 48-year-old Deltona man as the motorcyclist killed in an Orlando crash the day before Memorial Day.

The 2002 Suzuki motorcycle was traveling northbound on Goldenrod Road less than a mile south of East Colonial Drive when a 2010 Kia Optima on Timber River Circle made an improper left turn from a stop sign that only permits right turns, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The agency doesn't release the names of those involved due to Marsy's Law.

Troopers are continuing to investigate the crash.
