5-yr-old Sarah, who was kidnapped in Bahrain, rescued

The ordeal of an abducted Indian girl's family finally came to an end as the Bahrain police arrested the two kidnappers. Five-year-old Sarah united with the family after more than 24 hours of suspense.

Sarah was reportedly kidnapped from her mom's car in Hoora on Tuesday night, when the mother had gone out of the car to buy water from a cold store.

The culprits apparently drove off the vehicle with the girl, who was sitting in the backseat.

The Interior Ministry stated that they had captured the abductors-- a man and a woman, without revealing their identities.

Following the news, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj tweeted, "I am happy Sarah has been rescued. Thank you Bahrain."
