Enel Green Power has signed a collaboration agreement with Finnish wave developer AW Energy to allow global project replicability.

In a statement, AW Energy said the companies would share know-how on WaveRoller device licensing and technology.

AW Energy said it will provide Enel Green Power with information on project execution including licensing, grid connectivity, logistics and operations.

The Italian company will also be privy to insight from its first of a kind WaveRoller device due to be launched in Peniche, Portugal including visits to the operational site over the next year.

“We’re excited to start working on this contract with such an innovative and discerning customer,” said AW Energy chief executive Christopher Ridgewell.

“It is testament to the diligent work of Team WaveRoller and an honor to participate in Enel’s ‘New era, New energy’ vision,” he added.
