CARROLL COUNTY, OH (WOIO) - A Carrollton man was jailed Friday after police said he exposed himself to a young child who had just exited a school bus.

Earlier in the week, the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) received a report that a man engaging in lewd behavior was targeting at least one child.

The information was passed on to Carrollton School officials and school resource officers.

On Friday, a plain-clothed officer rode the child’s bus home with unmarked deputies following behind.

The officer witnessed the subject “pulling his pajama type pants down and exposing himself.”

According to the CCSO, the 45-year-old suspect was immediately arrested at his Jasmine Road home on public indecency charges.

He was then transported to the Carroll County Jail for processing.

In an interview with detectives, the suspect reportedly admitted to the charges against him, “as well as on other possible dates.”

Sheriff Dale Williams said additional charges are possible.
