NORTH RIDGEVILLE, Ohio

Theft: Highland Drive

A woman reported that a jewelry box with several rings, chains and sterling silver items was stolen from her vehicle sometime between Oct. 30 and Oct. 31.

Theft: Center Ridge Road

Giant Eagle reported that two people had left with a cart full of groceries without paying on Nov. 9. Police initiated a traffic stop of the suspect’s vehicle. An Elyria woman and Vermilion man were arrested and later transferred to Lorain County Jail.

The grocery store also reported a woman for shoplifting several items on Nov. 10. She was confronted and returned the items, and she was charged with theft.

Assault: Lear Nagle Road

Police responded to a domestic violence call on Nov. 8. Upon arrival, the suspect fled the scene. He was located and charged with domestic violence, assault, driving under suspension, wanton disregard for safety and fleeing a police officer.
