Some snowflakes possible in higher elevations of Western Pennsylvania on Thursday morning
After an impact day on Wednesday, some light rain showers will linger into Thursday morning -- possibly even mixed with snowflakes in higher elevations of western Pennsylvania.

Wednesday will see some heavy rain and possibly thunderstorms moving into the Pittsburgh area in the morning. Temperatures will be in the mid 50s but they will drop through the day, falling into the 40s by the evening.
Light, scattered rain showers are expected overnight and early Thursday morning. The rain could be mixed with snowflakes in higher elevations like Somerset County and into Garrett County, Maryland and the mountains of West Virginia.
Wind gusts of 30 mph are possible Tuesday night and sticking around into Wednesday morning. The winds will relax a bit through the day on Wednesday before picking up again with gusts of 25-30 mph at night.
