2 Consecutive games with two TD receptions for Texas A&M TE Jalen Wydermyer. He had two in Texas A&M’s 42-31 victory over Arkansas on Oct. 31 and two in the Aggies’ 48-3 victory over South Carolina on Nov. 7. Wydermyer had gone eight games without catching a TD pass before his back-to-back breakout.

3 Players have passed for at least 60 TDs and run for at least 20 TDs in SEC history. Texas A&M QB Kellen Mond enters Saturday’s game with 68 TD passes and 19 TD runs. Florida QB Tim Tebow had 88 TD passes and 57 TD runs from 2006 through 2009. Texas A&M QB Johnny Manziel had 63 TD passes and 30 TD runs in 2012 and 2013. Mississippi State QB Dak Prescott had 70 TD passes and 41 TD runs from 2012 through 2015.

7 Consecutive seasons have featured a 1,000-yard rusher for LSU, the second-longest streak in SEC history. For the streak to continue, LSU’s leading rusher, Tyrion Davis-Price, will need to average about 130.2 rushing yards per game for the rest of the season, assuming the Tigers can play five more games (four regular season and a bowl). Davis-Price has 349 yards and three touchdowns on 77 rushing attempts in 2020. The 1,000-yard rushers in LSU’s streak are Jeremy Hill in 2013, Leonard Fournette in 2014 and 2015, Derrius Guice in 2016 and 2017, Nick Brossette in 2018 and Clyde Edwards-Helaire in 2019. Auburn owns the SEC’s longest streak of 1,000-yard rushers at nine seasons from 2009 through 2017.

8 Consecutive victories over teams in the top 10 and four wins in a row over teams in the top five of The Associated Press Poll for LSU. The Tigers’ most recent loss against a top 10 team is a 29-0 blanking by No. 1 Alabama on Nov. 3, 2018. Under coach Ed Orgeron, LSU is 18-7 against ranked teams, 12-3 against top 10 teams and 5-3 against top five teams. Texas A&M is the Tigers’ first ranked opponent this season after LSU played seven ranked teams in 2019 and eight in 2018. The most recent ranked team to beat LSU is Texas A&M. The No. 22 Aggies upended the No. 8 Tigers 74-71 in seven overtimes on Nov. 24, 2018.

9 Previous LSU-Texas A&M games have featured a ranked Aggies squad playing an unranked team of Tigers. Texas A&M has won seven of those games, including the past five. LSU upset No. 17 Texas A&M 31-12 in 1945 and No. 11 Texas A&M 17-8 in 1990.

10 Yards have been averaged on its three kickoff returns by Texas A&M this season, the lowest average in the nation. LSU has the nation’s best kickoff-return average at 36.5 yards per return.

16 Victories and three losses for LSU when facing a former Tigers’ assistant coach as the opponent’s head coach. Texas A&M coach Jimbo Fisher is one of the assistants with a victory over the Tigers. Fisher worked on the LSU staff from 2000 through 2006 and has a 1-1 record against the Tigers. The other LSU assistants with victories over the Tigers are Mack Brown, who went 0-3 at Tulane and 1-0 at Texas against LSU, and Will Muschamp, who had a 1-2 record at Florida and an 0-1 record at South Carolina against LSU.

16 Victories without a loss for Texas A&M under coach Jimbo Fisher when the Aggies hold the lead at the end of the first quarter. When Texas A&M isn’t in front after one period, its record under Fisher is 6-10.

20 Consecutive seasons have featured at least eight victories for LSU, the longest such streak in SEC history and tied with Oklahoma for the longest active streak in the nation. The Tigers most recently failed to win at least eight games in a season in 1999, when they went 3-8. To keep the streak going, LSU will need to win four remaining regular-season games, including a yet-to-be-rescheduled game against Alabama, and a bowl.

21 Years since LSU had a losing record seven games into a season, which would be the case again if the Tigers lose to Arkansas on Saturday. In 1999, LSU opened the season by beating San Jose State and North Texas, then lost its next eight games.

25 Consecutive games with a TD pass for LSU. The Tigers’ most recent game without a TD pass is a 29-0 loss to Alabama on Nov. 2, 2018.

34 Victories, 21 losses and three ties for LSU against Texas A&M. The Tigers have won seven of the eight meetings as SEC West rivals. LSU’s loss came 74-72 in seven overtimes in 2018.

40 Career starts for Kellen Mond, tied with Corey Pullig for the most by a quarterback in Texas A&M history. The Aggies had a 33-6-1 record in the games started by Pullig from 1992 through 1995. Texas A&M has a 27-13 record in games started by Mond.

62 Percent of Texas A&M’s third-down snaps have been converted into first downs by the Aggies, the highest rate in the nation. Texas A&M is 49-for-79 on third down. LSU’s opponents have converted 41 percent of their third-down snaps into first downs after Arkansas went 0-for-10 in the Tigers’ 27-24 victory over the Razorbacks on Nov. 21.

171 Passes have been thrown by Texas A&M since the last time its quarterback was sacked. Vanderbilt recorded the only sack this season against the Aggies on Sept. 26.

8,847 Passing yards for Texas A&M QB Kellen Mond, the most in school history. With 1,427 rushing yards, Mond also holds the Texas A&M career record for yards of total offense with 10,274. In two previous games against LSU, Mond has completed 33-of-79 passes for 379 yards with six TDs and three interceptions. The six TD passes came in Texas A&M’s 74-72 seven-overtime victory against the Tigers in 2018. The three interceptions came in the Aggies’ 50-7 loss to LSU last season.
