BERNVILLE, Pa. (AP/WHTM) – State police say a crash involving a car and a pickup truck killed two people.
    
State Police in Berks County say the car heading north on Route 183 went into the southbound lane and collided head-on with the truck in Penn Township, Berks County. 
    
The driver of the car, 24-year-old Lindsey Rumbel, and a rear-seat passenger died at the scene of the crash shortly after 4:30 a.m. Sunday. 

State Police said 18-year-old Lindsey Swartz, a rear passenger, was taken the hospital with serious injuries. 

The driver of the truck 60-year-old Thomas Balthaser was taken to the hospital but troopers did not know the severity of his injuries.
