In a new video for Vogue, Yara Shahidi takes you through her makeup routine, social media habits, and who she looks to for beauty inspiration — all while snacking on some french fries like the icon that she is. Shahidi shows you exactly how she preps her skin for makeup and applies her favorite beauty products. She includes picks from Bobbi Brown, for which she is a spokesperson, and a liquid lipstick that she uses in multiple ways.

She also discusses the makeup looks that she posts photos of on Instagram. "When you see me on Instagram, I usually have the addition of a colorful pencil," she said, holding up a bright eyeliner. "On my page, when it comes down to what I like to share, I try to be most authentic to what's actually happening in my life, and so that means sometimes, you'll get speeches that have inspired me and essays that I'm reading. Sometimes you'll get selfies . . . It's about trying to be as authentic as possible."

See what's in her routine, along with more highlights from the video, ahead.
