Santa Claus made an early visit to West Springfield Sunday morning for “The Operation Santa Pancake Breakfast.”

Those who attended enjoyed a full breakfast and pictures with Santa. The Operation Santa Program gives back by gathering toys and gift baskets for families in need this holiday season.

Katelyn Lavalley of West Springfield told 22News, “They want to make sure every child in West Springfield receives a gift on Christmas. It gives a great community feel and gets everyone involved. It’s an easy thing to do you just come down get some breakfast and you’re good to go.”

Members of The West Springfield Lions Club helped prepare Sunday’s breakfast.

Operation Santa is a program run by West Springfield Parks and Recreation.
