Florida International of Conference USA faces Arkansas State of the Sun Belt Conference in the Camellia Bowl on Saturday, Dec. 21 in Montgomery.
James Morgan has thrown for 2,237 passing yards and 13 touchdowns for FIU (6-6, Conference USA). Meanwhile, Arkansas State (7-5, Sun Belt) will showcase the Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year Omar Bayless, who has caught 84 passes for 1,473 yards and 16 touchdowns.

Bayless ended the regular season as the nation’s leading receiver and set Sun Belt records for receiving yards and touchdowns. The team ended regular season with 34-30 upset loss to South Alabama.
FIU, on the other hand, made three straight bowls for the first time. It got its second-ever win over Power Five team with upset of Miami, once led by FIU coach Butch Davis.
The two teams haven’t met since Oct. 4, 2012, when Arkansas State beat FIU 34-20.
Arkansas State will be making its second appearance in the Camellia Bowl, the ninth straight season it is in the postseason.
This will be FIU’s first time in the Camellia Bowl, and the fifth bowl appearance in school history.
