Derrick Nnadi was known for causing havoc in the Beach District when he was a standout defensive lineman at Ocean Lakes High.
Now he’ll get a chance to play in Super Bowl LIV when the Kansas City Chiefs face the San Francisco 49ers on Feb. 2 in Miami.
Nnadi, now in his second year, has 48 tackles this season with a sack, interception and forced fumble.
This is the seventh consecutive season that a player from South Hampton Roads will be on a Super Bowl roster.
