CARY, N.C. — A Wendell man has been charged in a smash-and-grab robbery at a jewelry store at Cary Town Center last month.

Danny Thomas Goldston, 31, was charged with breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering in the May 7 robbery at Artisan Jewelers.

The store posted security video footage of the robbery on social media, hoping to generate leads about the two thieves. The video shows two people throwing a chunk of concrete through a window to break into the store and then using the block to smash display cases and dumping items from the cases into a sack.

Cary police are still searching for the second robber.
