As wait times for Jacksonville’s Lot J COVID-19 testing center neared two hours on Saturday morning, officials overseeing the city’s federal testing sites report no wait times at three new sites opened this week:

– First Coast Senior High School: 590 Duval Station Road., Jacksonville, FL 32218

– Frank H. Peterson Academies: 7450 Wilson Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32210

– Regency Square mall – Sears: 9501 Arlington Expressway, Jacksonville, FL 32225

The new drive-thru sites are open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily through Wednesday, July 15. Residents seeking tests can schedule an appointment to get tested, but appointments are not necessary. Appointments will expedite the testing, but those without them will not be turned away.

Appointments can be made by visiting DoINeedACovid19Test.com. Testing is free at the federal sites, as well as at the Florida Department of Health in Duval County site, Lot J and Legends Center testing sites.
