JOHN SANDRU

Jay was born in Martins Ferry, OH, on October 11, 1954, to John Jr. and Eleanor Sandru.

For many years he worked as the National Sales Manager at Shamrock Conduit Products in Barnesville, OH. An avid fisherman, Jay enjoyed time on the lake as well as cheering on his favorite team, the Cleveland Indians. Jay was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church in St. Clairsville, OH.

In addition to his parents, Jay was preceded in death by his sister, Jane Menedis.

He is survived by his wife, Melissa, three daughters, Amanda (Richard) Persiani of Granville, OH, Marina (Matthew) Parker of Fort Worth, TX and Jessica (Ryan) George of Pittsburgh, PA; grandchildren Gabriella and Alyssa Persiani, Kalkidan, Shanbu and Gamaliel Parker, and Reagan George; sister Carolyn Gale of San Jacinto, CA, brother Jeff Sandru of Gilbert, AZ, and several nieces and nephews.

In accordance with Jay’s wishes, no formal services will be held. His friends and family will gather for a celebration of life at a later date.
