SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - Two rounds of severe weather hit the Ozarks Wednesday.

The first round moved through early Wednesday morning. Viewers took to Facebook to share photos of the damage, and emailed pictures through the weather apps.

Some damage was reported in Greenfield, Mo. when strong winds destroyed the roof of a barn. Carol McGuire, who owns the barn, was just thankful her home was spared from wind damage.

Small hail was reported in Nixa and Lincoln, Mo. Penny size hail fell in Jasper, Mo.

Around 7 a.m. Wednesday in Bolivar, strong winds blew a trampoline across a women’s yard.

“We were getting ready this morning, and all the sudden we heard this really loud gust of wind, and a really loud bang,” Melissa Gray, who experienced wind damage, said.

The trampoline across the yard and tangled in a clothesline pole.

“Wind pulled it right towards the house, if that clothesline pole hadn’t caught hold of it, it would have hit the house, maybe hit some windows,” Gray said.

A basketball hoop, supported by two concrete blocks, blew over and fell on Gray’s car.

“I never park my car outside, but for some reason last night I did. I came down here, hit, and then just slid down,” Gray said.

It left dents and cracks on the hood.
