Pilots from Beale Air Force Base will be do flyovers Friday to honor people on the front lines of the novel coronavirus outbreak and those staying at home to help flatten the curve.Base officials said the T-38 pilots from the 9th Reconnaissance Wing will be performing formations throughout Northern California starting at noon. The pilots are part of the T-38 Four Ship Demo team and will be led by T-38 instructor pilot 1Lt. Kyle Carver.“Recce Town would like to express our sincerest gratitude to those working on the frontlines during the COVID-19 pandemic,” Carver said in a statement. “We’re honored to be able to continue a show of thanks for more medical professionals and first responders of Northern California.”The flyover is scheduled to take off at Beale Air Force Base. Pilots will then fly over medical facilities from Redding to Placerville. The flyovers will start in Redding, then continue to Red Bluff, Chico, Paradise, Nevada City, Placerville and Auburn.
