Eastpointe will play River Rouge in the Prep Kickoff Classic at Wayne State in August. 
Three Macomb County teams are scheduled to play in the Xenith Prep Kickoff Classic at Wayne State. Chippewa Valley takes on Detroit Catholic Central at 7 p.m. on Aug. 26. De La Salle Collegiate plays Chicago St. Patrick at 7 p.m. on Aug. 27, and Eastpointe takes on River Rouge at 1 p.m. on Aug. 28.
Also on Aug. 26, Canton plays Dearborn Fordson at 4 p.m.; Birmingham Groves plays Dexter at 4 p.m. on Aug. 27, and Detroit Cass Tech plays Southfield A&T at 4 p.m. on Aug. 28.
